Sadly this week I hung up the boots for the USMC. After 9 years I felt it was time to keep moving on with my life. I don’t think I could of timed a departure any better than on the Marine Corps Birthday ball. It was nice to go out in style all dressed up in Blues…pics to come!
There are a million reasons to that I decided to hang up the boots, and a million reasons for me to stay. But in the end I felt it was just time.
The USMC is by far one of the best experiences I have been through. There are times were my limits (both physical and mental) were tested. Out of these grueling experiences do you ever get to see what you are truly made of. There are so many stories I have. I’ll just have to jot them down in a memoir soon, before I forget!!
The one thing I’ll never forget is the camaraderie. The comraderie that we build together as Marines is something I gaurantee Corporate America has no idea about! Not even your school fraternities / sororities have anything on it either. It’s about getting each other’s back no matter what. Even if you don’t like the Marine, but because you both are Marines and of the same unit/section, we always took care of each other. I have to thank Gunny Mares for teaching me that.
To the Marines of MASS 6, both East Coast and West Coast…It’s been an honor to serve with you.

Man I didn’t realize I havent updated this thing since July! We hope things are going well with you! Drop a line and let us know how you’re doing!
Just some quick updates.
First off I’ll officially be getting out of the USMC in November. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s something I chose to do. It’s time to hang up the boots and go out in style during the Marine Corps Ball!
Jenn also got a job back in San Diego working for the Buick Invitiational. So what does that mean? You got it. We’re going to be officially moving back home to SD. I’ll be putting our place in Ontario up and looking for a place down in San Diego.
We also started our official CASHFLOW club. You know Jenn and I are entrepreneurs at heart. If you are in the Ontario area look us up! Our site is : http://www.learn2buildwealth.com
Don’t worry, I won’t be asking you to join my business or Jenn’s. It’s all about you learning how the world of money and business work. Its also about how you can use that knowledge to your advantage.
Again we hope things are going well with you. Have a good week and GO CHARGERS! Raiders suck

So it’s been one year since Jenn and I been married! Isn’t amazing how fast a year can go? I could of sworn we were married last month?!
Anyways needless to say to been an awesome year. Even though we’ve been together 10 years as a couple, we’re still going through our growing pains. We know no matter what our future is going to be awesome together.
We started taking up golf together! Who would of thought golf would be awesome! I had an appreciation for golfers when I saw my first PGA tournament. Now I have a bigger appreciation since learning to play. If you want to tee up just give me a call anytime!
In August I’ll be hanging up the USMC boots. I’ll be getting out during drill weekend. Can you believe I’ve been in for 9 solid years? To me it’s time to move on. I’m not bitter towards the USMC or anything. In fact, being a Marine is part of who I am and will always be. I’ll definitiely miss it. I won’t miss the BS, but I’ll definitely miss the friends I’ve made. You can always call me up! There is just something about the comroderie of being a Marine, that I have not been able to find anywhere.
Now it’s on to building a family!
Take care!

What’s up World!
I suck at updating this thing. Thank you to all that still check this site out!
Our boys our in Africa are doing well. They give their best. The unit is having a BBQ during drill weekend for everyone’s families. This is for us to let their loved ones know that we are still here to support them.
I just launched a new site. http://www.learn2buildwealth.com
If you are familiar with Robert Kiyosaki and his book Rich Dad Poor Dad, my site promotes the game Cashflow 101. If you are in the So. Cal area I’m starting a new Cashflow club. Please feel free to join us. The tentative date for our first meeting so far is June 16. The final date will be passed soon.
Check out the site and sign up. Don’t worry it’s just me sending you spam.
Jenn is doing well. She also launched a new business with her cousin doing wedding/special occasion invitations. Their website is still in work, however if you’re planning a big get together soon let her know and she can help you out.
We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Not our wedding anniversary but how long we’ve been together. Crazy huh! Anyway we spent it in St. Augustine, Florida. That is a beautiful area. We took a golf lesson and now we’re hooked! We also got to hit up the spa and relax a bit which was awesome. Here’s to many more anniversaries to come!

Sorry for not posting here as often as I should be.
I got to watch Wicked at Pantages. Jenn has been dying to see this musical for awhile. It’s like a prequel to the Wizard of Oz (sort of).
Celebrated my 27th Birthday! I can’t believe next year is my 10 year high school reunion. Wonder how everyone has turned out after all these years. But I did get Guitar Hero for my birthday! Thanks Elmer and Jenn.
We got to eat some awesome all you can eat sushi at Yoshi’s then bowled afterwards. Good times were had by all who came. Pictures will be up soon. (hopefully).
I gotta say good luck to my good friend Matt Diebolt whose leaving to become a pilot in the Navy. Congrats on getting accepted!

This weekend got to see the PGA tournament in La Jolla, at the Buick Invitational. It’s one thing to watch on TV its another thing to watch the golfers do their thing.
Tiger is the man!
Thanks Jenn for hooking it up! In our skybox was also Phil Nevin and Mark Loretta. I got them to autograph my Padres visor! Too bad they’re not on the team anymore. But still tight to meet sports figures.
No pics tho. We were’nt allowed to bring cameras into the golf tournament. Didn’t want to get tackled by Tiger.
Quick updates:
I added the old Iraq videos link under the Blogroll. I found through google analytics people are still accessing these videos. I probably should get them on to You Tube.
Changed the background again. Wordpress makes it so easy to change themes. I recommend them for business blogs as well.

Who’s in? All we need is to get 15 of us to bring 200K each and we can start somewhere.

I got the news my unit lost a good Marine today due to a motorcycle accident. You never ever want to hear about something like that especially when its someone you know and respect.
Here’s some info about him. His name is Staff Sergeant Flanagan and he was about 3 feet tall. Just kidding…actually 5′7″ I think. Anyways, he was one of those Marines you always wanted to emulate because he was a Marine through and through. He definitely knew how to chew your ass when it had to be chewed, on the other hand he also knew how to encourage you when you needed it. Might have sounded like “get your ass up!” or something of the like. But he got your attention somehow.

On behlf of the Marines of MASS 6 and especially from C/E…thanks for everything SSgt. You’ll be missed. To the Flanagan family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Life is too precious and fragile. Make sure you take time out of your busy schedules to be with the ones you love for just a moment. Because that’s all it takes for something to happen…an instant.
Just be careful on the road out there. And Stay Safe!

Congrats to my Dad, the new VP of the Baguio association of San Diego. Jenn and I will be going to his induction next weekend.
Also this weekend is our nephew Erias, baptism. Jenn is the god mother for him. Pictures are sure to follow.
Still bumming a little over the Chargers. Oh well. There’s always next year.
For all you Marty haters here you go:
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6354154
No use of arguing about it, because if he did win the Superbowl his record would be 8-13 and you guys would then say he got lucky. So no point in arguing with you armchair nfl general managers. Go Saints!
Still messing around with wordpress. I’m hosting this site once again. I’ll be posting linking the videos we made out in Iraq as well. There’s still a lot of traffic for those.
Also good luck to all my Marines out in Africa now. I know you all will represent MASS 6. Stay posted for pictures.
Till next time!

Craploads going on this sunday!
First off, for all you Charger fans/haters, this guy is coming for you!

Calm Down, Shawne!
Then shortly there after the JB Hour of Power will commence once again. Thanks Tim for delivering the “football”.

In other notes, I installed Wordpress on to the 1and1 webhost. It’s pretty awesome. You can get a lot of freedom in how you want your blog to look and you aren’t limited to what kinds of widgets you can have on your sidebars. You just need to know a little HTML and some CSS. Or you can contact Joey (shameless plug) and he can “service” you.
I hope all is well with you. Tim Happy Birthday! For a short amount of time we are the same age. Welcome to club. See you next year at 27. I wish to be like JB and be 40 something and still be able to kill terrorists by the hundreds.
